W/C 24th April 2017

Though April’s derivation is not certain, a common theory is that the name is rooted in the Latin Aprilis which is derived from the Latin aperire meaning “to open” – perhaps a reference to the opening or blossoming of flowers and trees, a common occurrence throughout the month of April.

A huge congrats to all our Pre-Schoolers who got accepted into their reception year schools, we are so proud of all of you! Claire is our Transition Co-ordinator, and will be making contact with the schools, inviting the teachers in to meet the children. We will also be sourcing photo’s of the children’s classroom so they can start to familiarise themselves with their new environment… and we will be purchasing the school uniforms for the children to use in ‘role play’.

Please make sure you tell us which school they are going to!

Our little ducklings have been growing so so much and boy are they noisy, but very cute! The children have loved watching them paddling in the water, feeding and making sure they are keeping warm.

We are going to miss them as we said goodbye to them!
