”Children are like flowers you never get tired of watching them grow and blossom” and we love seeing them develop in their own way each and every day!


Amanda has been working very hard getting our new summer menu ready for launching next week… She has really done a fabulous job in getting lots and lots of variety in there for the children. We will be encouraging them to try lots of different foods and Amanda has made sure they will be having a balanced diet with all the correct amount of starches, carbs, fruit and vegetables…


4In May Amanda will be taking us on a trip to USA! We will be creating some fabulous American dishes that the children will love ….

Amanda will be cooking up an American Diner meal for us on Tuesday 9th May… We will be having a USA Hotdog and Fries finished off with a New York cheesecake – We are looking forward to it!

  • The menu will be ready for you to view from Monday 8th May. 
  • Tuesday 9th May we will all be wearing ‘STARS and STRIPES’

2Pre-School Show and Tell – Every Wednesday!

Please can ALL children who are in Pre-School on Wednesday bring in a pair of wellies and a colander as we will be zooming to the moon and back before bath time!

Please can you make sure…

  • All children’s holiday dates are emailed to us in advance to admin@monkeypuzzleweybridge.co.uk
  • All pushchairs are to be brought inside when dropping off and collecting children and NOT to be left outside the front door.
  • Please can you bring in a sun hat and sun cream for your child clearly marked with their name.

Let’s learn about..UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!

a15ecd1c-f010-45c1-bcae-a192269c780dThis month we will be exploring ‘all things American’…cultures, traditions, sight seeing and what kinds of weather the American’s experience. We will be creating some flags, Statues of Liberty, looking at how tall the buildings are, how long their bridges are and lots, lots more, so keep an eye out for all their creations throughout the month…and coming home to you….ready to be stuck on your fridge!


Calling all our ‘Superhero’ dad’s… We are going to be having a bring and BBQ on Saturday 3rd June here at the nursery for you and your children…So please save the date and let us know if you will be attending.

BABIES… did some gardening by planting their own sunflower seeds and learnt all about how we need to look after the seeds so that they grow!

TEENIES… have been letting their imaginations run wild creating lots of different coloured playdough they made some amazing strawberry tarts! They have also made their own bird feeders to take home and put in the garden.

TODDLERS… have been doing lots and lots of things to do with life cycles, they have been talking about the ‘Hungry Catapillar’ and how he transforms during his life. They created some cacoons and made some fresh fruit kebabs to make sure they are keeping healthy!

PRE-SCHOOL… have been working on their project which was all about the solar system. They all loved talking & singing about the different planets. They also have been learning about the importance of being honest and polite to each other, friends and family.


Well done to Jessica P in Babies who has created a wonderful ”free art” collage using her expert sticking creative skills!
You are our top MESSY MONKEY this week. Well done Jessica it is fantastic!

Your baby may be choking if they suddenly become distressed, have noisy breathing, if they are unable to cry or cough. In some cases they may not be able to make any noise or breathe.
