Our Outdoor Area has been enhanced and now has exceptional learning opportunities for our little ones, from growing to exploring. The children love it!
The Forest – Children engage with nature, they get creative and develop their motor skills with many activities such as natural leaf threading. They also make their own flower garden by planting their favourite flowers in colourful little pots that hang on display for them to nurture and care for daily
Woodland Area – Time to Explore! The children develop gross motor skills on the way to the Woodland Area by jumping over tyres filled with wood chip. In the woods they can hunt, explore, discover and investigate… whether it’s bugs they find or some beautiful butterflies, they will have fun! In the woods they can find a Mud Kitchen where some amazing new ingredients are discovered in this natural area and are popped in to their mud pies. A delicacy not for the faint hearted!
The Beach – Get ready for fun in the sun (and sand)! Once our little ones have exhausted The Forest and Woodland Areas, there are plenty of beach-based activities to keep them busy…we let them escape to a tropical paradise where they can build sand castles, draw shapes in the sand, find hidden treasure… they can even pretend to be pirates and create their own pirates den with a beach towel and some branches. Then they can relax on their very own deck chairs and enjoy sandy fun in the shade.
Construction Area – Our budding builders are hard at work as they build walls, houses, flats and even rockets from look-a-like bricks, mixing cement in their very own mixer. Health and Safety of course plays an important role as they all ensure they are dressed appropriately with their high-vis jackets and hard hats.
Music Area – Classical, rock, soul and pop… many genres of music fill our garden when the children play with their homemade musical instruments. Some amazing tunes can be heard from rattling sieves, running metal spoons along dishwasher racks…or even just banging biscuit tins!
